Hello, I am Lorraine and I joined HOPE services in 2017 during a difficult time in my life.  I joined some of HOPE’s groups and soon made strong friendships and from this new and networks which I still enjoy.

Initially, I became a volunteer, and I was elected on to the trustee board a short time later. My role is varied and includes fundraising and supporting events and groups.   

In my spare time, I love to read and spend time with family and friends. I have an active social life which was brought about by my involvement with HOPE.

I would recommend volunteering to everyone, it has changed my life in so many positive ways.  It also feels good to give back to your community.
