"I am a local councillor for the Temple Newsam Ward. In 2019, I was lucky enough to be invited to be a Trustee at HOPE, which was then known as Halton Moor & Osmond thorpe Project for Elders. HOPE is set within my ward and has always supported the elder generation of our community.
During Covid, I assisted HOPE & colleagues to reach out to the community in many ways and we identified a need to assist younger members of our community, which brought about the name change of HOPE, which is now, Halton Moor & Osmond thorpe Project for Everyone, and it certainly does just that.
HOPE staff and volunteers are fantastic people and a lifeline to many, they work tirelessly for our community, and I am proud to be a Trustee and part of the HOPE family.
